| Abstract: | การเปลี่ยนแปลงของโครงสร้างประชากรผู้สูงอายุมีเกณฑ์เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง การศึกษาความต้องการและการมีแนวทางการปรับปรุงสภาพแวดล้อมให้เหมาะสมกับผู้สูงอายุ จึงเป็นสิ่งที่ควรให้ความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งเพื่อคุณภาพชีวิตและมีความสุข การศึกษานี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการเข้าใช้พื้นที่ศาสนสถานของผู้สูงอายุในวิกฤตการแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 และวิเคราะห์สภาพแวดล้อมในชุมชนเพื่อรองรับการใช้งานของผู้สูงอายุในวิกฤตโควิด–19 เพื่อเสนอแนะแนวทางการพัฒนาด้านกายภาพของศาสนสถานในการรองรับการใช้งานของผู้สูงอายุ ผู้วิจัยเลือกศึกษาพื้นที่ 3 ชุมชนได้แก่ ชุมชนวัดประยุรฯ ชุมชนกุฎีจีน และชุมชนกุฎีขาว เหตุผลเพราะว่าเป็นพื้นที่ชุมชนเก่าแก่ที่มีความโดดเด่นในการอยู่ร่วมกันต่างวัฒนธรรมและเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีศักยภาพในการพัฒนาในด้านกายภาพและสังคม ผ่านกระบวนการ คัดเลือกกลุ่มเป้าหมายโดยผ่าน Gatekeeper และใช้หลักเกณฑ์การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพตามแนวทางของ Nastasi และ Schensul (2005) ในการการสัมภาษณ์ผู้นำศาสนา ผู้นำชุมชนและคณะกรรมการชุมชนรวมถึงผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุมากกว่า 60 ปีที่เข้าใช้พื้นที่ศาสนสถานเป็นประจำทั้งหมด 32 ท่าน โดยใช้แนวคิดถนนเพื่อชีวิต (Street for life)Elizabeth Burton และ Lynne Mitchell (2006) และแนวคิดเมืองที่เป็นมิตรต่อผู้สูงอายุ (Age friendly city) ของ WHO เพื่อนำข้อเสนอแนะมาเป็นแนวทางในการปรับปรุงสภาพแวดล้อมชุมชน ผลจากการสำรวจพื้นที่ด้านที่อยู่อาศัย พื้นที่ภายนอกและภายในอาคาร การคมนาคมของพื้นที่ศึกษาชุมชนวัดประยุรฯ ชุมชนกุฎีจีน ชุมชนกุฎีขาว ด้านพื้นที่ภายนอกและภายในอาคารพบว่ามีอุปสรรคของการใช้งานพื้นที่ภายนอกในส่วนของทางเท้า ถนน ตรอก ซอย โดยมีสาเหตุมาจากพื้นที่ไม่เหมาะสมต่อการใช้งาน มีสิ่งกีดขวางบนถนน และสภาพผิวถนนที่ค่อนข้างขรุขระ ในด้านที่อยู่อาศัยส่วนใหญ่เป็นครึ่งตึกครึ่งไม้ที่มีอายุมากไม่เหมาะสมต่อการใช้งานของผู้สูงอายุและการคมนาคมในพื้นที่สมาชิกในชุมชนใช้การเดินเท้าในการไปยังส่วนต่างๆ ของชุมชนดังนั้น จึงเสนอแนะแนวทางการออกแบบและปรับปรุงสภาพแวดล้อมให้เหมาะสมต่อผู้สูงอายุตามแนวคิดเมืองที่เป็นมิตรต่อผู้สูงอายุ (Age friendly city) เช่น มีพื้นที่สีเขียวหรือที่นั่งสาธารณะ ทางเท้าที่ไม่มีสิ่งกีดขวางและเรียบเสมอกันสามารถใช้งานได้จริง |
| Other Abstract: | The aim of this research is to study problems and barriers to accessibility of elders to public and religious areas in multicultural communities, as well as to analyze the right environment for the elderly during the Covid-19 situation. Additionally, the study proposes improvements to the physical environment and landscape that will benefit not only the elderly, but also everyone else in the community. All relevant information was gathered by surveys and multiple interviews with community leaders and elders who are frequent users of outdoor religious spaces andresidential locations In the three selected study areas of Watphrayoung Community, Khudi-chin Community and Khudi-khoaw Community. Analysis of the buildings and outdoor spaces in these selected case study areas revealed concerns about several issues, including damaged footpaths and roads. These facilities currently do not meet the requirements for usability and accessibility of the public.Most of the buildings in these areas are very old a nd constructed of wood and mortar. They were not designed for easy access or today’s standards of usability. The majority of individuals in the studied communities use walking as their main mode of transportation; therefore, new guidelines need to be implemented to improve these public areas in order to provide easier access for the elderly, handicapped, and the general public. It is recommended that age-friendly designs and concepts such as such as green space, public seating, and public parks be applied to these public areas. Sidewalks also need to be improved to allow better use and access for the elderly and other residents of these communities. |
